RFP Specialist | Los Angeles (Hybrid)
Established investment advisory firm ($60B+ AUM) seeks highly motivated RFP Specialist to work in collaboration with team to prepare responses to institutional/retail RFP's and due diligence questionnaires.
Responsibilities:
Write high volumes of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and client updates for Institutional, Sub-Advisory Wrap, and Wealth Management prospects/clients, focusing on larger and/or more complex RFPs/consultant questionnaires that require additional research, analysis, creativity and judgment
Manage the review/draft process from kickoff to completion; work closely with subject matter experts on the collection/verification of all RFP content and ensure the content is accurate/compliant while managing deadlines
Support the Institutional, Sub-Advisory Wrap and Wealth Management distribution teams as needed by responding to ad-hoc requests related to RFP responses
Develop a full working knowledge of the firm's structure/investment strategies/key personnel/organizational policies and procedures in addition to a functional knowledge of a professional services environment
Maintain/ensure accuracy within the RFP response database
Assist in affiliate RFP teams requests and in key projects to increase team efficiencies as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferably in a related discipline such as business, finance, economics or marketing
3+ years investment management industry experience
Experience updating consultant databases such as eVestment, Callan and Informa/PSN
Proficiency in Excel desired and additional quantitative skills preferred but not required
Knowledge of financial products/asset classes
Excellent written/verbal communication skills; exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently; ability to work under deadlines and manage competing obligations
Ability to effectively manage new projects, existing maintenance, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks under tight deadlines
The target base salary range is $85-115k. The starting salary offer will vary depending on factors such as applicant's education, experience, skills, alignment with market data, etc. Company offers an extensive/competitive benefits package as well.
