RISE Facilitator 25-26

Position: RISE Facilitator- Teacher Leadership Position

Salary- 75,000-97,500

Contract- 210 Days

Goal- to serve students so that they can be successful in the classroom, and to support staff by providing research-based methods to address Tier 3 behavior, ELA, and math needs.

Daily Schedule:

Serve Tier 3 through WIN/FLEX times at school- this person will pull Tier 3 ELA and Math needs for students that are not being served through resource.

*schools will be required to coordinate their WIN/FLEX times so that ECE is served at a different time than Elementary students (this will allow for more focused Tier 3 instruction)

*schools will be required to have a master schedule that is mostly consistent across the district

During the time of day that is not encumbered by WIN/FLEX, this position will serve students exhibiting Tier 3 behavior needs. This service could look like:

• providing check-in/check processes with students
• providing transition support to students struggling with change or limited structure times during the school day
• providing observation and in-class support when students start to exhibit disruptive behavior
• pulling out students who need a chance to reset
• providing more extensive pullouts to students who need time away from the classroom to work on a specific behavior curriculum to help them learn the skills necessary to return to their classroom
• Providing support while the student transitions back into the classroom

Students who need to be served by the RISE Facilitator will be referred through a process that includes utilizing the following data pieces to determine the need

Academics

• MAP data
• Common Formative Assessment data
• SCReady data
• Classroom assessment data

Behavior

• Office referrals
• Behavior Observation Forms
• Teacher input/administrator input

Weekly Requirements

The RISE Facilitator will be required to attend a weekly Webex/meeting with district office personnel and the other RISE facilitators. This person will be required to provide data on students served (academic and behavioral) in these meetings. The meetings will also provide time for collaboration and learning.

Note- the RISE Facilitator will be serving students 180 days a year. This person will not serve to offset administrative duties. In times when there are no students that need to be served, this person will go into classrooms to observe, model, and help facilitate research-based classroom management techniques that will help strengthen Tier 1 teaching across the school.
