Position Overview:
The RN CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in the operating room. This includes assisting the surgical team during operations, ensuring a sterile and safe environment, and monitoring the patient's condition throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Assist the surgical team by preparing the operating room and equipment, ensuring sterility and readiness for procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and status throughout cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and success of surgeries.
• Administer medications and assist with the management of anesthesia, as directed by the anesthesiologist.
• Document patient care, surgical procedures, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and properly functioning.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative education to patients and their families.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and best practices in all aspects of care.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVRN) or operating room nursing.
• Experience with cardiovascular surgeries and interventions.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures.
