Position Overview:
The RN CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in the operating room. This includes assisting the surgical team during operations, ensuring a sterile and safe environment, and monitoring the patient's condition throughout the procedure.

Position Overview:
The RN CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in the operating room. This includes assisting the surgical team during operations, ensuring a sterile and safe environment, and monitoring the patient's condition throughout the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Assist the surgical team by preparing the operating room and equipment, ensuring sterility and readiness for procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and status throughout cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and success of surgeries.
- Administer medications and assist with the management of anesthesia, as directed by the anesthesiologist.
- Document patient care, surgical procedures, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and properly functioning.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative education to patients and their families.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and best practices in all aspects of care.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVRN) or operating room nursing.
- Experience with cardiovascular surgeries and interventions.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures.
