Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.3x12. Every other weekend required. Holidays required. 13 WEEKS. Minimum 2 year
Description: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.-Float to units within competency as required.-Cardiac Vascular & Post Surgical Stepdown Unit. Schedule Notes:7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.3x12. Every other weekend required. Holidays required. 13 WEEKS. Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the ICU & S/D required, 3-5+ years highly preferred. Must have ICU and S/D experience at the bedside within the past six months. Experience and competent in working with pulmonary patients, vents, trachs, hanging drips, incubation, etc. COVID ICU unit. ACLS & BLS required. CCRN or PCCN highly preferred.RN must be willing and able to treat and manage patients on unit with a variety of conditions (including but not limited to flu, Covid, heart issues, lung issues,etc).Must be willing to float or downgrade as needed.Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.-Must have a strong MS/Tele background.Preferred Skills & Experience:-Ventilator.-Post-cardiac surgery experience.-Post-surgical experience.
