Position Detail:
A facility in Cooperstown, NY is looking for an ER RN. BLS and ACLS required. PALS required. TNCC required. 2 years of experience required. Caregiver cannot be a resident of Otsego county. Caregivers have the possibility of being floated to other facilities within the Bassett Healthcare Network. Caregivers are expected to make up any missed shifts within same pay period or following pay period, with the exception of mandated medical quarantine or at managers discretion. Two or more missed shifts will result in termination. (Contract Updated: 08/28/2024)
Unit Details:
- Level 2 Trauma, teaching facility - 160 bed facility - 16 beds unit - 1:5 ratio - EPIC charting system - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required. 3-5 years of nursing experience, 3-5 years Emergency Room experience and 1-3 years traveler experience required. Excellent communication, teamwork and clinical skills is a must. - Travelers cannot be resident of Otsego county. -Some floating between Bassett Healthcare Network facilities possible. COVID vaccine not required, if candidate is vaccinated documentation is required, if they are not vaccinated declination is required.
