Position Details
Shift Schedule: 12-hour Day shifts
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $63/hr on W2
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in a Home Health Unit in Williston, ND, 58801 . This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential patient care in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status in their home environment, evaluating vital signs, medical history, physical condition, and home safety. This includes identifying any health changes, monitoring chronic conditions, and recognizing early signs of complications.
Care Plan Implementation and Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers. The RN coordinates and monitors home care services to ensure patients receive appropriate treatments, therapies, and medications.
Wound Care and Medication Management: Provide skilled nursing interventions such as wound care, administering injections, managing IV therapies, and ensuring that patients follow prescribed medication regimens. RNs also educate patients and caregivers on how to manage medications safely at home.
Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on managing chronic conditions, post-surgical care, medication administration, and any necessary lifestyle changes. This includes providing emotional support and guidance for coping with the challenges of home care.
Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor the patient's progress and communicate with the physician and healthcare team to report changes in condition. RNs are responsible for making necessary adjustments to care plans and ensuring all aspects of patient care are thoroughly documented and followed up on.
Qualifications Required:
Active and unrestricted ND RN License.
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (Home Health experience preferred).
Current BLS certification.
