- Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Rotating Weekends
- Salary: Up to $130,000/year (based on experience)

A leading regional medical center in El Paso is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the Case Management department. This 300+ bed acute-care hospital offers comprehensive services including trauma, cardiac care, NICU, women's health, rehabilitation, and surgical specialties. As a key member of the interdisciplinary leadership team, you will help ensure effective care coordination, optimal patient outcomes, and efficient resource utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Case Management team (18 FTEs, including Case Managers, Social Workers, and a Coordinator)
- Conduct face-to-face assessments with patients and families for discharge planning
- Monitor utilization review processes and ensure appropriate use of hospital services
- Collaborate with physicians, payers, and care teams to address admission, discharge, and care transitions
- Ensure discharge plans include follow-up services such as DME, home health, or placement as needed
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring rights to self-determination and equitable care access
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, staff, and community service providers
- Active Registered Nurse license (TX or compact)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- At least 2 years of recent supervisory or management experience in acute care case management
