Night Shift - RN Nurse Manager with Direct Care

Rate of Pay
  • $44.00 - $48.00
  • + $2.00 per hour shift differential if working at least 4 hours between 6:00pm and 6:30am

Responsibilities
  • While working as a direct care RN --
  • Assist with planning, organizing, developing, and directing overall operation of the Nursing Department.
  • Interprets policy and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance
  • Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to ensure quality of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and infection control (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
  • Attends and participates in facility and organization committee meetings
  • Monitors, reports, and responds to incidents and accidents as appropriate.
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
  • Ensures availability of adequate and appropriate supplies and equipment
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and infection control guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Current, unencumbered, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience
  • Management experience 1+ year (Required)
  • EMR systems, 1+ year (Required)
  • Acute care, 1+ year (Preferred)
  • Long-Term care, 1+ year (Required)
  • BSN or MSN
  • Registered Nurse, 3+ year (Required)
