The RN Risk and Quality Director will report directly to the CNO. Supported by all department directors and a committee of passionate quality and risk focused nurses, this person will lead an outstanding and busy hospital in quality and risk initiatives. The RN Risk and Quality Director will work with the hospital staff, educators, and other leaders to develop new patient care initiatives as they are needed.
The RN Risk and Quality Director will be in charge of developing and implementing departmental goals and standards that align with the clinical objectives, goals and values of the hospital. This requires evaluating departmental operations, including patient care and complaint management, to achieve the quality control goals. In addition, the RN Director identifies trends, prioritizes and recommends changes to improve risk areas. Most importantly, the RN Risk and Quality Director will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes safe, outstanding care, and encouraging growth throughout the hospital.
