Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Surgical Nursing

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 1st shift, 12 or 10-hour shifts ending at 19:30

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing

License:
- Current State Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)

Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent

Must-Have:
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice
- Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or nursing diploma

Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients.
- Demonstrates competence in providing care to all patient populations.
- Manages both the unique and predictable needs of patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
- Works in the Operating Room and/or GI/Bronch lab settings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Please note that proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is required.
