Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse - Emergency Department (Evenings) Job Specialty: RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening, 3:00 pm - 3:00 am Guaranteed Hours: [Information not provided] Experience: Minimum years of experience [Information not provided] License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor/Provisional- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred or PALS Instructor/Provisional preferred Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school preferred- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies- Excellent time management, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking skills Job Description: - Actively participate as part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe patient care.- Use analytical and critical thinking to personalize patient care and coordinate care effectively.- Deliver relationship-based patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and is consistent with population-specific characteristics.- Communicate and partner with patients and their significant others using methods like bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.- Maintain current clinical practice standards and participate in shared governance.- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care, utilizing diverse communication methods.- Demonstrate teamwork and fiscal responsibility, contributing to the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.- Support performance improvement and engage in research utilization to enhance patient care quality.- Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education requirements.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to other nurses, modeling professional nursing practice.- Promote evidence-based practice and participate in evaluation processes for patient care products.- Adhere to organizational policies and clinical competencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.- Engage in data collection and consultation to improve evidence-based practice.- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum and participate in protocol development.- Support effective use of human and material resources.
