Job Title: RN OR Circulator - Weekend Days Job Specialty: Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: No less than 5 years of experience in the Operating Room (OR) License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Strong proficiency in 2 of the following specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics, Vascular- Ability to start no more than 4 weeks out from the application- Previous travel experience is a plus but not mandatory Job Description: - Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care using evidence-based practice- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics- Partner with patients and significant others as appropriate, maintaining a focus on the patient's goals in the plan of care- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment- Participate in performance improvement, research, and the promotion of safe, quality patient care- Complete professional competency assessments and required education- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement- Participate in data collection and evidence-based practice initiatives- Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum- Collaborate with care managers and healthcare team members to achieve best practice outcomes- Ensure efficient and effective use of human and material resources- Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct Additional Information: - Shift: Mon-Fri 6:45am-3:15pm with on-call duties- Position available after specified date---Please ensure any remaining proprietary information is removed before posting.
