WORK SCHEDULE
Full time variable days per week.
Must be able to work both at UW Medicine Montlake Campus and Northwest Campus
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our RADIOLOGY/IMAGING SERVICES RNs provide radiology care for patients from all areas of UWMC, inpatient and outpatient. RN's who work in our department provide procedural care including IV starts, conscious sedation monitoring and nursing assessment.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The RN for Clinical Oversight (RN3) provides professional nursing care; provides leadership for unit functions with focus on developing education programs, new employee orientation, clinical resource for staff; and supports quality and safety outcomes.
Will also assist the Nurse Manager to develop, maintain, and evaluate the on-going operations of the unit.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide triage assessment, nursing diagnosis, and evaluating all aspects of nursing care for each discipline within the procedural of Interventional Radiology
Review and present all pertinent patient health history, physician orders and patient needs to formulate and prioritize a plan for the procedural care.
Facilitates individualized orientation and competency development process for newly hired/promoted nursing leadership personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires at least two years previous experience in a Facilitates individualized orientation and competency development process for newly hired/promoted nursing leadership personnel.Radiology, Emergency or ICU.
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
Nursing education background
BLS certification
