Your Primary Responsibilities will include
  • Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for FDOT roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with FDOT, AASHTO, and applicable design standards.
  • Lead the design, analysis, and development of roadway plans using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and FDOT CADD standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of roadway projects including horizontal alignments, vertical alignments, 3D modeling and cross-sections, pavement design, and temporary traffic control plans, quantities, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborating with clients, sub-consultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Support DRMP's business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations for FDOT projects.


What you'll need
  • Bachelor of Science from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering
  • Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 5+ years of transportation roadway design experience
  • Limited Access Experience (desired)
  • Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
