Description
Responsibilities:
Designing, developing and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and creating attractive and effective user interfaces
Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations
Required Skills:
In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of Core JavaScript
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of the Angular framework and UX concepts
Extensive hands-on experience with Angular, Bootstrap, HTML 5, JavaScript, SCSS and Node.js
Thorough knowledge of web markup, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap and UX concepts.
Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration.
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
Understanding of modern architectural practices for cloud-based solutions.
Proven experience applying software engineering best practices and architectural practices to agile product delivery.
Extensive experience with building complex, API-based solutions and transactional systems.
Experience with code version control systems (e.g. Git), DevOps practices, cloud delivery / deployment models, virtualization, and container solutions
Experience with writing automated test scripts for unit, integration and end-to-end testing
Deep knowledge of common authentication technologies, browser-based security controls, and standard web application security tools.

Must have experience with consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs
