Job Title: Associate Director of Nursing
Job Specialty: Nursing Administration
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days 5x8, possible weekends (8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 7:00 am - 3:00 pm)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum five years of clinical experience and three years of administrative experience
License: Licensed Registered Nurse
Certifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Training in Infection Control or Quality Improvement
Must-Have:
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
- Effective communication skills with patients and team members.
- Knowledge and adherence to policies and procedures related to hazardous waste and materials.
- Understanding of relevant codes and regulations.
- Physical capabilities to perform duties, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the Nursing Department.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital and outside agencies.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care services.
- Establish and maintain an organizational structure to achieve goals and objectives.
- Recruit, employ, train, supervise, and evaluate unit staff.
- Review and maintain patient care protocols and standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state policies and regulations for patient care.
- Coordinate quality improvement, safety, and infection control programs.
- Oversee the operations of reporting units.
- Establish and implement short- and long-term organizational goals and policies.
- Perform related duties as required.
