S4 HANA FICO Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions within the S/4HANA landscape. You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving end-to-end finance transformation projects that align SAP functionality with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, & implementation of SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions, including integration with other modules (SD, MM, PP, etc.).
• Partner with business leaders to gather and analyze requirements for financial processes such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Design and oversee configurations in the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and New Asset Accounting, leveraging Fiori apps and Embedded Analytics.
• Define and manage the FICO-related data migration strategy, including tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit and LTMC.
• Ensure integration with SAP Group Reporting, or other SAP ecosystem components as applicable.
• Guide technical teams in developing enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom developments (WRICEF).
• Drive fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, solution design, and system configuration workshops.
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and end-user training.
• Stay current with SAP roadmap and influence future-state design through knowledge of Best Practices, SAP Activate methodology, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP FICO experience, with 3+ years in SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven experience as a solution or enterprise architect in large-scale SAP implementations or transformations.
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA simplifications, Universal Journal, and real-time integration between FI and CO.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and GAAP/IFRS frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/SAP Activate project methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience in Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury & Risk Management, or Revenue Accounting (RAR).
• SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Fiori app development, and integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI, API).
