Safety Assurance Senior Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Safety Assurance Senior Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Ten (10) years of experience in the aviation industry.
• Five (5) years of experience in aviation safety management.
• Previous management positions and experience with leading employees.
• Familiar with FAA regulations and Health and Safety Standards.
• BS degree, preferably in a STEM field.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

B. PERSONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Treat all information as confidential.
• Possess the tact to effectively deal with all levels of employees.
• Must pass drug test.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job.
• Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job.

C. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Identification and mitigation of hazards and risks under G2s SMS program.
• Develop corrective action plans and support their implementation at different airports.
• Develop and implement safety enhancements to prevent damages and injuries.
• Support safety risk assessments, safety audits, and customer safety programs.
• Support safety training, investigations and safety culture campaigns.
• Close collaboration with station personnel and leadership and G2 customers.
• Lead a group of Safety Managers at different airports in the G2 network.
• All other duties as assigned.
