The Safety Director is responsible for leading and engaging the principles of the corporate safety program. This role with work in the office and out in the field, supporting all field employees.
Salary for this role is a range of $140,000-175,000

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $175,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Conducts job site safety observations
- Provides guidance and education on safe work procedures, best practices, regulations, policies and use of safety equipment
- Facilitates, Develops and Delivers training
- Attends Safety meetings
- Promotes a total safety culture
- Supports corporate safety initiatives
- Represents company at on-site regulatory inspections
- Attends relevant conferences, meetings, training etc. appropriate for the position
- Responds to emergency call out, storm duty, and other applicable emergency response demands as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or equivalent.
- 5+ years in utilities and construction.
- 5+ years of overseeing a team
- Must be willing to travel
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
- A valid state drivers license
