Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and education to employees on best practices and safety protocols.
- Lead accident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Oversee hazardous materials management and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on OSHA regulations and industry standards to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Minimum 7 Years of dedicated construction safety experience.
- Experience in commercial, civil, and self-perform concrete vertical projects.
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- Familiarity with safety training and accident investigation methods.
- Experience in emergency response planning and hazardous materials management.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
- BCSP designation is a plus.
