You Are:

You are a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for technology and sales. With a background in the semiconductor industry or related fields, you demonstrate a keen interest in integrated circuit design and a strong desire to deepen your understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem. Any prior experience in these areas would be an added advantage. You have a proven track record in sales or business development, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive business growth. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring your message to meet their needs. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are adept at managing complex engagements to achieve customer success.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Driving sales of our EDA software products by engaging with customers to understand their needs and close new business.
  • Collaborating with a team of veteran EDA salespeople to competitively position our solutions.
  • Working with technical experts to demonstrate the benefits and features of our products.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, selling business value to executives.
  • Managing complex business and technical engagements to ensure customer success and business growth.
  • Learning quickly and becoming a contributing member of the Synopsys sales force.


The Impact You Will Have:
  • Driving revenue growth by successfully closing new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective engagement and support.
  • Contributing to the overall success and growth of the Synopsys sales team.
  • Helping to position Synopsys as a leading provider of EDA software solutions.
  • Supporting the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

What You'll Need:
  • BS or BA with 3+ years of sales or business development experience.
  • Possess a basic understanding of sales techniques and strategies. Includes being able to identify customer needs, handle objections, and close transactions.
  • A basic understanding of integrated circuit design and/or the semiconductor ecosystem.
  • Experience in EDA sales or business development of products supporting the semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, high-performance computing, and related industries.
  • Background in analog, digital, IP, and/or ASIC design implementation (Nice to have)

  • Proven track record of building positive relationships with customers and selling business value to executives.
