Key Account Manager - Aerospace Sales

Pay: 90,000 - $110,000 per year to start (possible commission depending on experience).Location: Onsite - Compton, CA.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with our customers in the fasteners industry. This role includes sourcing fastener-related products, assisting in the sales of our SI bolt brand, and achieving sales goals.If this sounds like a fit, then we are looking forward to hearing from you!Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new customer accounts. Regularly communicate with customers to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met.
  • Sales and Sourcing: Source and procure fastener-related products to meet customer specifications. Assist in the sales of our SI bolt brand by understanding product lines and providing effective solutions.
  • Account Growth: Revive dormant and slow-growing accounts while actively seeking opportunities to expand the customer base. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to customer orders, including locating specialized items and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Objectives:

  • Grow and manage the current customer base.
  • Engage dormant and slow-growing customers.
  • Add and procure new accounts.
  • Understand and sell our custom SI bolt products effectively.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:Must haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in fastener sales and the fasteners industry.
  • Familiarity with MILSPEC, NAS, aerospace fasteners, and rivets.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing accounts.
  • Experience in selling industrial parts components such as fasteners, nuts, bolts, and electronic components is a plus.

Nice to haves:

  • Over 10 years in the fasteners industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of mil-spec fasteners and rivets.
  • Established relationships with major defense, government, or airline customers.
  • A desire to grow with our organization.
