Sales Account Manager

What we are looking for:

Overall responsible for customer relationship management of assigned accounts. Orchestrating our approach to and support for the customer across all product lines to secure sales. Stay alert about market development as well as customers' situation to accurately assess new business opportunities. Ensure customers' success thus creating business for HD.

What you will do:

  • Achieving or exceeding allocated sales targets for all product lines including Lifecycle solutions
  • Develop and present professional sales presentations, proposals, solution quotations and contract offers.
  • Focus on product mix and work closely with life cycle sales team to achieve Lifecycle targets
  • Involve product drivers as and when required in the sales process.
  • Manage the internal and external interaction of product specialist team to support sales cycle activities
  • Understand and consult customers with the aim to add value to their business, especially with regards to O.E.E., business models and profitability
  • Actively generate new business opportunities for Heidelberg while maintaining excellent, professional customer relationships
  • Ensure all different interests of customer's decision makers are addressed properly.
  • Ensure an open and transparent information flow thus maximizing sales and customer satisfaction levels
  • Conduct customer visits as per defined frequency plan to ensure full market coverage
  • Use Heidelberg's marketing activities and specific product campaigns to achieve sales target
  • Negotiate and close contracts in line with given price lists and discount structure
  • Keep yourself up to date regarding Heidelberg product knowledge across all product lines
  • Maintain accurate and timely records utilizing companies CRM by:


  • Maintaining customer's organization and legal entities
  • Identifying key contacts within each customer and maintain accurate information
  • Keeping all contact data and their profiles updated
  • Keeping equipment install base information current
  • Maintaining accurate Sales forecast for assigned customers by correctly maintaining estimated close date, requested delivery date and HD chances.
  • Recording all customer activity via contact reports


Skills:

  • Basic personal computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to multi-task


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years job experience
  • Ability to travel 60 to 75% of the time
