Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing long-term relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets. This role involves working closely with customers in the agriculture community to understand their needs, providing program options that offer tailored advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Conduct inbound and outbound calls to convert leads to customers, and prospect new business opportunities to expand Trader PhD's client base.

Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

Client Consultation: Understand clients' risk management objectives and effectively communicate the value of Trader PhD's advisory services.

Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts within a given price range and close deals to achieve sales goals while finding a program that fits their operation best.

Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, including revenue, sales activity, and customer feedback, to inform sales strategies and improve performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including market analysts and agricultural marketing advisors to provide customized solutions to clients.

Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales quotas, retention goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, financial services, commodities, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in agricultural markets, commodity trading, or risk management services.
  • Background in financial advisory, brokerage, or similar fields.
  • 3+ years of sales experience


Working Conditions:

This is an in-office role conducting sales calls, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary + generous commission structure ranging from $60k-$150K
