Salary Range: $110K - $135K

Role Overview: As a Sales Account Manager, your goal is to achieve specific tactical and strategic quotas within a designated geographical territory for Aerospace and Defense Customers. You will establish multi-level relationships, provide market intelligence, prospect assigned accounts, introduce and present our products and services, and write technical and commercial proposals. Additionally, you will manage account performance, address and resolve issues, and communicate frequently with assigned accounts.

Additionally, you will manage account performance, address and resolve issues, and communicate frequently with assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain profitable, professional relationships with customers through organized and focused programs.
- Promote new business opportunities and implement long-term strategies for repeat business.
- Seek out, establish, train, and manage new representatives/agents, and assist existing ones in creating new business opportunities.
- Drive sales growth through regular travel, close customer contact, technical assistance, and product support.
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to the Business Unit Manager and VP of Sales.
- Assist the sales, manufacturing, and engineering teams in designing and marketing new products.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals for customer RFQs for both military and commercial programs.
- Identify, propose, and close potential sales with customers in your territory.
- Manage customer accounts and promote the sale of Energy Storage and Power Conversion products to OEM and Aftermarket, Commercial, and Military customers.
- Present yearly Sales/Business Plans to senior leadership with goals, key customers, competitors, and ideas to increase sales revenue and product support.
- Maintain accurate notes for the customer activity database through CRM with daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
- Travel extensively throughout the territory to present PowerPoint presentations, engage in technical discussions, and negotiate contracts with customers and representatives.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills.
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, advertising sales, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of Aerospace and Defense Technical Sales experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment with a high degree of self-motivation and independence.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineering, service, marketing, customer care, and related organizations.
- A four-year college degree.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time or more.

- Computer literate, able to use a laptop for communications and presentations.

Authorization Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
- Eligible to serve as an Empowered Official under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
