A day in the life:

The Sales Analyst is essential in supporting the sales team by delivering data analysis, insights, and reports to enhance sales performance and guide strategic decisions. This role fosters trust in our data through the production of sales reports, data mining, and warehousing, while ensuring data accessibility and integrity for informed decision-making. Additionally, you will gather data from various departments to create initial reports, maintain and update reports and dashboards, streamline data workflows, safeguard data for better discoverability, and offer actionable recommendations to optimize sales processes and achieve targets.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends and insights, and uncover opportunities for growth, cost savings, and process improvements. Gather data for reporting, update dashboards, streamline workflows, secure data through warehousing, and collaborate with sales operations and leadership to fulfill data requests.
  • Data Governance: Work with IT and data management teams to resolve data quality issues and enhance governance practices, while collaborating with national and regional teams to consolidate data for accurate results.
  • Sales Performance Reporting: Create and generate regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and scorecards. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and sales effectiveness measures. Provide accurate and timely reporting to sales leadership and other stakeholders to monitor progress towards sales targets and goals.
  • Sales Forecast Accuracy Analysis: Evaluate the accuracy of sales forecasts and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with producers and sales leadership to understand forecast variances and develop strategies to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Sales Goals: Assist in designing and administrating sales goals and plans. Analyze sales results to ensure alignment with objectives and drive desired outcomes.
  • Territory Analysis: Analyze sales territories and market segments to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Evaluate market potential, customer segmentation, and competitive landscape to inform territory planning and resource allocation decisions.
  • Sales Analytics Tools and Systems: Leverage sales analytics tools, CRM systems, and other relevant technologies to extract, manipulate, and analyze sales data. Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies in the sales analytics space and make recommendations for their implementation.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or a similar role
  • Report and dashboard generation, data visualization
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools (e.g., Salesforce Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

The applicable base salary range for this role is $58,200 to $108,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
