What You'll Do
We're looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Associate with a strong hustle mentality to support our growth in Northern California. This role involves a high level of internal partnership between Product and GTM teams: you'll be the key link between marketing, sales, consulting, and product teams. Your primary goal is to drive high-quality marketing qualified and sales qualified leads that convert into consulting opportunities.
You'll report directly to the Northern California Go-to-Market Managing Director. Working directly with Sales Directors and the NorCal marketing team, you will provide crucial support in executing campaigns, researching target accounts, and generating high-quality leads for our consulting teams.
Campaign Execution & Event Support: Create, define and drive the success of multi-channel demand generation campaigns (e.g., email, campaigns, LinkedIn, events, etc.) in collaboration with Sales Directors. Activities include list building, scheduling, reach-outs, and initial reporting.
Research & Analysis: Conduct research on target companies and individuals within the assigned Northern California industry/industries, identifying key contacts and relevant information. Conduct analysis on Slalom, our clients, industry trends, and use insights to target and influence buyers.
Data Management: Maintain data accuracy and integrity within our CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Outreach & Follow-up: Conduct initial outreach to prospects (e.g., email, LinkedIn, networking events, etc.) to qualify interest and schedule meetings for the sales team. Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
Personalize & Scale with AI: Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to streamline campaign execution, personalize outreach, and scale impact. Continuously identify and implement new practices to gain deeper insights, optimize sales workflows, and deliver tailored solutions to prospects.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Sales Associate, sales leadership, alliance team and other internal stakeholders.
Industry Alignment: Become knowledgeable and deepen your expertise within 1-2 of the below industry teams, supporting the go-to-market plan. Major industries include: Tech - Software, Tech - Hardware, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Energy, Financial Services, and Public Sector / Social Impact.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $81,000 to $121,000 and the targeted base salary range is $81,000 to $100,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You'll Bring
- 1-3 years of previous sales or sales support experience; consulting or technology account sales experience preferred.
- Passionate about sales and technology.
- Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
- Organized and methodical; strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong relationship building skills; internally and with clients.
- Proficient with and excited to use next-generation AI tooling across all domains of the go-to-market workflow.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree.
