Job Details

Job Summary A strategic 'hunter' who is focused on creating demand and building sales pipeline.
Key Duties & Responsibilities (in decreasing Critical Emphasis order)1Responsible for cold-calling prospects and educating the market about the value of Movius and generating opportunities with net-new customers. 2Use lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and craft accurate and targeted lists of prospects.3Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social media to connect with new prospects.4In partnership with marketing, deploy educational nurture campaigns to help create new demand in the market with target buyer personas and help progress opportunities through the buyer journey.5Prepare sales forecasts by Account and set/agree on performance goals accordingly.6Perform pre/post sale activities, as needed: quoting, following bids and forecasting.7Ongoing management of relationships to maximize Movius' potential revenue.8All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/AbilitiesMinimum RequirementsFormal EducationBachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.Experience (type & duration)
  • Minimum 10 years of sales and business development experience required
  • Partner with Global Head of Sales and International to build Canada go to market strategy and define strategic segments and partners
  • Strategic partnership with our carrier partner Telus; navigate the organization and build relationships with key sales influencers!
  • Experience: minimum 5 years of SaaS and or Telco sales experience
Skills
  • Experience establishing strategic C-level relationships.
  • Ability to run a full sales lifecycle, start to finish, within the emerging segment.
  • Experience executing detailed product presentations and web demonstrations of our software capabilities to C-level executives, directors, and sales managers.
  • Collaborative mentality by prioritizing 'we' and not focusing on 'me'.
  • Superb listening skills; you must understand objections and defeat them by turning skeptics into new customers.
  • Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct compelling on-site presentations and product demonstrations to C-Level executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
