SUMMARY

Curana Health is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Sales Director to lead our local sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving compliant growth while supporting the SVP of Sales and Marketing Strategy. The Sales Director will focus on building, developing, and managing a high-performing, efficient, and compliant team of captive sales agents. Additionally, you will cultivate relationships with key external partners and work closely with internal teams to achieve shared growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, goal-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team.
  • Develop and implement growth and development plans for direct reports.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to sales team members through weekly one-on-one meetings, side-by-side coaching, role-playing, and other activities.
  • Drive the team to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Track and maintain sales enrollments on a weekly basis, providing additional ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in sales strategies, measuring and analyzing performance.
  • Collaborate with facility staff when necessary to effectively enroll residents in institutional special needs plans, utilizing strong sales closing skills to drive enrollments.
  • Assist in setting goals for market plans and sales agents.
  • Plan and lead annual sales training initiatives.
  • Lead by example, fostering teamwork, and tackling challenges head-on.
  • Contribute to the creation of organizational objectives.
  • Make critical decisions to support team and company success.
  • Manage team budgets effectively.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 - 10 years work experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Health Insurance Producer License
  • Minimum 5 years selling Medicare Advantage Plans or similar sales product
  • Assertive and confident self-starter who is willing to travel to nursing facilities and/or on the job training for agents
  • Ability to build and analyze data, extract findings, and implement solutions
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver presentations in an impactful manner
  • Organized, able to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, communicates effectively across sales team, health plan management, and provider partners
  • Capable of driving results, pushing agents to meet or exceed goals
  • Willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • History of successful selling and/or leading successful sales teams
  • Proven understanding of CMS rules and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
  • Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed in your respective market
  • Ability to lead high visibility projects and/or implementations
  • Proven successful track record
