About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Sales Director to secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on fundamental understanding of the customers' business, operations, and objectives. Actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations. Act as an owner of the business by delivering execution, building trust and enabling customer successes in all engagements". This job role will be focused on selling a specific part of the network services (NRO, NDO), Transport, Indoor and Site Solutions, in the Southern California, Southwest & Mountain Plain markets.

What you'll do
  • Be responsible to enhance customer relationships and dedication.
  • Build and strengthen relationships at all levels within the customer organization, specifically at the market AVP and regional VP levels.
  • Be expected to create sales opportunities for Networks Services (NRO, NDO) as well as Transport, Indoor and Site Solutions product portfolio that will generate profitable sales.
  • Coordinate optimization of the account team's performance and to enable seamless transition to operations

Skills you'll bring
  • Bachelors or Masters Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration, MBA desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of relationship sales and 5 years from the ICT industry preferred
  • Technical Expertise on Ericsson RAN, Transport, Indoor and Site Solutions portfolio, prior experience in Technical Sales/Networks Domain is preferable
  • Prior domain experience in network services (NRO, NDO) with relevant experience in securing construction and integration business
  • Operations, Project management, delivery transition and execution of Construction and Integration projects in the field in close collaboration with the delivery organization.
  • Strive to deliver customer success
  • Consultative selling skills and commercial acumen
  • Challenger Sales Approach, challenge status quo
  • You will need to have customer and market insight as well as negotiation skills
  • Ability to deal with telecom procurement organizations to influence outcomes

Your Pay

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
  • California: $178,200 - $207,900


Sales Incentive Plan:

Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
