Responsibilities include:
Achieving set revenue and sales budgets, developing sales strategies, build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction with current and prospective customers.
Meet required sales conversions including lead generation and developing marketing plans.
Continue development of key customers and target accounts with on-going growth to ensure meeting or exceeding established expectations.
Monitor and drive profitability, sales and customer service with team, coach and manage to achieve set goals including revenue and expense budgets.
Develop short and long-term growth plans, while providing new ideas, tools and methods to attract and maintain a strong customer base.
Supervising the Business Development team including scheduling, review of hours, coaching, feedback, and teambuilding.
Inventory management in collaboration with Purchasing. Processing special orders for clients.

Qualifications:

Must have bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in corporate level management (childcare, distribution or foodservice experience preferred), excellent oral and written communication, highly developed decision-making, superior customer service skills, exceptional team leadership skills, along with a strong background in analysis.

Preferred Experience in creating, developing, and driving sales. Superior communication, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Familiarity with NAEYC, DVAEYC, CCIS; Recipe Conversions and Recipe/Cost Analysis; In-depth knowledge of products, pack-sizes, taste of products; CACFP regulations, CACFP meal patterns and portioning; how to read CN labels; how to read Nutrition labels; knowledge of product formulation sheets; SERV Safe certification.
