Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic SDR Enablement Manager to join our Revenue Enablement team at Payscale. Reporting to the Manager, GTM Learning & Development, this role will be responsible for developing and delivering targeted training programs to enhance the skills and productivity of our Sales Development Representatives. The ideal candidate has formal enablement experience, a proven track record in an SDR/quota-bearing sales role and has a passion to empower others to be successful. Additionally, this individual is comfortable gathering content and creating engaging trainings to drive the learning experience. Collaborating closely with SDR leadership, marketing, and the broader enablement team, you will own SDR onboarding and programming, identify training opportunities, reinforce best practices, and foster continuous improvement. The SDR Enablement Manager is a crucial role within our high-performing, growth-focused enablement team, dedicated to empowering and advancing our SDR professionals.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with SDR leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute a strategic enablement roadmap aligned with team goals and business objectives.
  • Deliver and optimize a structured and high impact onboarding program for new SDRs.
  • Create and enhance training materials, including playbooks, scripts, and presentations, to equip SDRs with the necessary tools for success.
  • Deliver virtual instructor-led onboarding and ongoing enablement programs.
  • Launch targeted, scalable training initiatives that address common skill gaps or performance challenges across the SDR org.
  • Work with SDR managers to provide coaching and development for SDRs focused on improving areas of opportunity, progressing within the SDR organization.
  • Create and deploy a bench program to identify and lead high-performing SDRs through certification to prepare skills for promotions beyond the SDR organization.
  • Foster strong relationships with marketing and sales teams to align SDR enablement initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Communicate proactively and regularly with leadership to provide updates on SDR effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of SDR enablement initiatives, analyzing the data to provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or training/enablement programs
  • Proven experience/success in sales development or a similar role within a SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, sales methodologies and outbound prospecting.
  • Exceptional training and coaching skills with a track record of improving team performance.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with sales leaders, frontline managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze sales KPIs and metrics to drive informed enablement programs, as we use data-driven decision making here at Payscale, and we're looking for candidates who can put that value to practice.
  • Experience with CRM, CMS, LMS & Conversation Intelligence tools (Salesforce, Seismic & Gong preferred)


Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $94,800 - $142,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
