JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE

Responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address technical concerns. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are effectively implemented.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services, including their technical specifications, features, and applications.
  • Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives. Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to address customer needs effectively.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the company's offerings. Articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design custom solutions that align with customer requirements and objectives. Develop proposals, technical documentation, and other materials to support the sales process.
  • Serve as a technical resource for customers throughout the sales cycle and beyond. Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance on product implementation and integration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help drive product innovation and enhance competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Assist in qualifying leads, preparing quotes, and negotiating contracts as needed.


EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, engineering, or related roles. Experience in B2B sales or technology sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in understanding complex technical concepts. Ability to translate technical specifications into business value.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence audiences at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential.
