Responsibilities
A Sales Engineer collaborates with the sales team to execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles. You will support solution selling, deliver powerful presentations and demos, manage technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses, communicate client needs to R&D teams, collect competitive intelligence and maintain the demo system. You contribute to new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, and overall sales team success and report directly to the VP of Sales.
Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
Model the financial business case (ROI) associated with a sales opportunity as needed
Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions and demo use cases
Create and deliver sales presentations and demos that clearly communicate our value proposition
Manage all technical aspects of the demo system and RFP / RFI responses
Effectively communicate client needs to the Product teams for future product enhancements
Collect and document competitive intelligence
Qualifications
Prior software sales or sales engineering experience
Ability to travel as needed for strategic sales opportunities
Ability to travel to Trade Show Exhibitions & Conferences
Business process expertise in Logistics overall and specifically in Transportation Management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to create compelling business cases highlighting our products and services
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of the salesforce application development, security and architecture standards
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
Ability to work and facilitate alignment across stakeholders
Ability to build internal and external relationships

Compensation: $96,000.00 per year
