Position Summary: The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients, and managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. This role involves understanding customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and achieving sales targets to drive company growth.

Responsibilities:
- Sales Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record of success in hunting for, identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships across all verticals (C-level executives, directors, supply chain, engineering, buyers, etc.)
- Experience in consultative and relationship selling with the ability to navigate complex sales environments.
- Strong selling skills, including overcoming adversity, tactical planning, effective execution, and achieving ambitious sales goals.
- Experience in specialized industries such as Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Space, Semiconductor, is highly valued.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen. Minimum requirements as needed to travel by car and airplane in the continental U.S. and internationally (primarily Canada).
- A college degree in engineering, sciences, economics, or business is preferred.
- Experience - Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; a working knowledge, experience, and relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and government agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DoE)
- A minimum of five to ten years previous sales or engineering experience in the manufacturing or related industry preferred with strong organizational abilities and good communication skills. Must be detail oriented, have problem solving ability.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and have initiative to follow through the steps required, working with our Customer Focused Team (CFT) teams and executive staff.
- Travel is required for this position.
