About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer or Enterprise Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for our largest and most strategic customers. In this role, you will aid in the sales process and drive customer success by overseeing technical components of the sales cycle, workflows, implementation, and adoption to ensure long-term retention and growth of each account.

As a SE or TAM, you will partner with our Sales and Account Management teams and also work closely with our Product, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and identify growth opportunities. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strategic relationship management to enhance customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

This is a hybrid role which requires at least 2 days in office per week at our Portland, OR or Boulder, CO office and ability to work from home the remaining days.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build demo accounts and proof-of-concepts (POC) mimicking the prospect's product with Cloud Campaign embedded in.
  • Steer implementation plans to encourage the prospect to accomplish their business goals while using existing functionality.

Onboarding & Implementation
  • Lead complex onboarding processes for enterprise customers, ensuring smooth platform adoption.
  • Develop and execute custom implementation plans tailored to customer needs.
  • Assist customers with technical implementations, API integrations, and workflow optimizations.
  • Debug API errors and SSO issues to ensure a timely resolution and quick integration for partners.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to enterprise customers, providing best practices and troubleshooting assistance.

Strategic Account Management
  • Partner with our OEM Account Managers, acting as a trusted advisor to maximize their success.
  • Proactively identify and address customer pain points, ensuring retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally to advocate for customer needs within Cloud Campaign.

Data-Driven Strategy
  • Utilize analytics to monitor account health, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Provide actionable insights to customers to improve engagement and product utilization.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer (SE) or Enterprise Technical Account Manager (TAM).
  • Web development experience with proven technical aptitude for creating basic HTML webapps leveraging vanilla JS and clean stylesheets.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams.
  • Proven track record of success, measured initially by time to implement for the partner, then by upsells, reducing churn, and increasing Net Recurring Revenue (NRR).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in driving revenue growth and managing renewals.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive customer success strategies.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in Social Media Marketing - Familiarity with social media platforms and digital agency workflows.
  • Relevant Certifications - Customer success management, CRM tools, or project management certifications.
