Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and goal-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Freight Forwarding industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, managing existing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our logistics and supply chain services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's freight forwarding business (Air, Ocean, and Ground transportation).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including international and domestic logistics accounts.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients by providing tailored logistics solutions.
- Prepare and deliver customized presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and KPI tracking for upper management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Support and mentor junior sales staff (if applicable).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Freight Forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of international trade, Incoterms, and customs brokerage.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Japanese, )
