The Sales Manager, Entertainment, is responsible for driving growth and revenue by cultivating relationships with industry leaders in the amusement and theme park sectors. This role focuses on promoting Altec's innovative solutions, including show action equipment, ride control systems, and show control technology, to create immersive and unforgettable guest experiences. The Sales Manager will identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs while ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

This position requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the entertainment industry, exceptional communication skills, and a good understanding of ride and show control systems, automated machinery, and large-scale entertainment installations. The role demands frequent travel across North America and internationally to represent Altec at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and project deliveries.

Through proactive market analysis and strategic decision-making, the Sales Manager plays a key role in achieving company goals, maintaining profitability, and strengthening Altec's reputation as a leading provider of innovative solutions in the amusement and theme park industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement growth strategies in the entertainment industry to achieve financial targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Identify emerging market opportunities, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and position Altec as a preferred partner for ride and show equipment and control systems.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers, serving as a trusted advisor and business partner. Provide consistent, high-quality customer service to address inquiries, resolve issues, and exceed expectations.
Product Presentation & Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Altec's innovative technologies. Effectively communicate technical and financial value propositions to customers.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, engineering and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Provide customer insights to guide the development of new features or product enhancements.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain a competitive edge. Recommend adjustments to sales strategies based on data-driven insights.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to executive management, highlighting performance metrics and growth opportunities. Maintain pricing and profit margin targets in all sales orders, ensuring company profitability.
Travel & Representation: Travel across North America and internationally to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows to foster relationships and represent Altec professionally. Actively participate in industry networking opportunities to promote Altec's brand.

Requirements:
Ten years of proven track record of success in sales, within the entertainment, amusement, or theme park industries.
Education and/or experience in engineering are advantageous.
Strong understanding of ride and show control systems, automated machinery, and large-scale entertainment installations.
Strong technical acumen to understand and communicate complex engineering and control systems.
Proficiency in preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
Ability to analyze customer needs and propose customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ERP systems.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
