Lindsay Automotive is looking for an experienced, dedicated, talented, enthusiastic Automotive Sales Manager to add to our growing organization.
This role includes developing a sales strategy to expand our customer base, maintain customer satisfaction and overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the automotive industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven record of successful sales,ooutstanding customer serivce skills

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed established sales goals
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer preferences and market trends
- Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with customers
- Manage and lead the sales team, setting clear sales targets and motivating the team members
- Hire, train, and develop new talent for success
- Coordinate with the marketing team to establish promotional activities and events
- Manage the inventory of vehicles and ensure vehicles are in good condition for sale
- Handle customer complaints to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Oversee the daily activities of the car sales department
- Make sure all leads are being properly followed up
- Assisting individual sales consultants to close sales when necessary
- Working with the finance department to develop car loan and payment plans
- Keeping track of inventory and ordering new vehicles as needed
- Completing sales paperwork and ensuring all transactions comply with legal and company policies
- appraising trade-in vehicles, overseeing dealership inventory, and interacting with auto service departments to ensure vehicles are in sellable condition
- Qualifications
- Proven work experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of current automotive market trends and technology
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
