Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager is responsible for accurately estimating and bidding all types of roofing projects, ensuring competitive pricing and maintaining cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The position will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors. The Sales Manager will ensure sales targets are met, or exceeded, through pursuing, closing and moving deals into production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Train and mentor, the on-field sales team to enhance skills and performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, provide feedback, and celebrate successes.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and best practices tailored to the roofing industry.
- Client Engagement:
- Meet with commercial and residential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored roofing solutions.
- Schedule and conduct proposal reviews with clients, ensuring a smooth and professional process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with vendors, contractors, and other relevant organizations.
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to represent Bumble Roofing and generate leads.
- Sales Performance:
- Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and individual team members.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Drive overall revenue growth while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Industry Expertise:
- Continuously educate yourself and the team on industry trends, products, and techniques through vendor resources and training programs.
- Stay updated on competitors' offerings and market conditions to ensure Bumble Roofing remains a leader in the industry.
- Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with other departments, including project management and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to optimize the sales team's efficiency.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3 years' experience in estimating, preferably roofing or general construction
- High school diploma or GED
- Skills:
- Understanding of roofing systems, materials, industry standards, and installation practices.
- Analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to provide precise and competitive estimates.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Experience in business development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with project management software.
