Position Overview:
The Sales Manager, reporting directly to the President, leads the SyncLync Hearing Aid Sales Department. This role is responsible for driving strategic sales growth, overseeing the sales team, building customer relationships, and strengthening brand awareness within the market. This is a key leadership position, requiring strong management skills and a deep commitment to achieving SyncLync's goals in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
Sales-Related:
Oversee and manage the Sales Department, including recruiting, training, coaching, and developing sales representatives
Establish and execute strategic plans for sales growth and market penetration in collaboration with the President
Actively manage high-priority customer accounts to strengthen relationships and increase market share
Initiate and conduct outreach to prospective clients to develop new business opportunities
Set and monitor monthly and quarterly sales targets, ensuring the team meets goals and applying corrective actions as needed
Ensure accurate and timely data entry and information updates in the CRM system
Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing teams to provide market insights and customer feedback
Regularly update senior management with accurate sales reports and strategic recommendations
Represent SyncLync at industry trade shows and conferences, requiring travel
Management:
Take an active role in planning, evaluating, organizing, and controlling sales operations
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and performance within the department
Supervisory:
Responsible for recruitment, disciplinary actions, training, and developing sales team members
Conduct performance reviews and manage performance documentation
Oversee timecard accuracy and approve in a timely manner
Skills:
Strong capability in sales forecasting and reporting
Solid understanding of the sales process, with a focus on customer service excellence
Demonstrated ability to uphold the company's mission, values, and ethics
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
High attention to detail, with a commitment to quality
Ability to meet deadlines and project a positive, professional demeanor
Marginal Job Functions:
Contribute to special projects as needed
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
Experience:
3+ years of industry experience in a proven sales role required
Experience with sales forecasting, reporting, and performance analytics
Knowledge of the hearing aid or healthcare device industry preferred
Other Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with CRM software required; additional experience with industry-related software a plus
Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record; ability to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and conferences as needed
