Qatar Airways (QR) are now recruiting for the role of Sales Manager (TMC) for our North America Region.
Based in New York you will lead a highly engaged sales team to exceed commercial targets from a portfolio of existing accounts and new business. You will develop and rationalize the allocation of resources, skills and activities to drive profitable revenue while maximizing our strategic partnerships.
Total annual salary for this role ranges from (140k to 160k annually), along with amazing flight benefits both with Qatar Airways and oneworld Alliance.

Accountabilities include:
- Responsible for the strategic direction of the sales team by defining the optimal way to increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships.
- Structure and implement sales plans to optimize QR's revenue and presence in the market for key/strategic/national accounts, in close collaboration with head office and regional stakeholders.
- Formulate and implement B2B strategies with the sales team to maximize revenue from existing accounts and drive revenue streams from new business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in head office and the region to develop short/medium term local sales incentives strategy for the Region.
- Recommend the B2B sales strategy for the Region. Accountable for negotiating B2B agreements.
- Responsible for delivering targets and KPIs for the sales team while being a key member of the Sales Leadership team supporting the Regional Manager.
- Responsible for coaching and development of the Account Management team through active leadership and joint calls.
- Maintain high level relationships with key industry bodies, diplomatic missions, governments, airports within the Region.
- Review management information/network data with your team to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities. Use data driven objectives while working with key stakeholders internally across multiple departments.
- Responsible for implementation and adherence to Beyond Business policies and procedures that are developed in consultation with head office.
Qualifications
The successful person will have:
- Minimum 8 years of Sales Management experience within the Airline/ travel industry
- Experience with people management - Coaching and Development skills
- PC Literate with knowledge of Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Tableau and Salesforce.
- Strong track record in negotiating successful portfolio of TMC agreements against targets
- Extensive commercial experience in the travel industry
