Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, office personnel, and the service and warehouse departments. Ensure customers and outside sales staff receive prompt and efficient service. Manages sales leads, places sales orders, generating sales quotes, inquires about product availability, and asks other sales/service related questions. Provide high level customer service while maximizing sales and gross profit. Provide report analysis, identification of trends, identifying problems and implementing solutions. Support CRM and ERP systems upgrades.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
- Reviews estimates, quotes and sales orders
- Observes and evaluates work performance staff, provides instruction and assigns duties. Administers guidelines for consistent performance. Follows-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensures staff receives adequate training in computer systems, sales and operations SOPs, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Assist staff and customers in resolving problems associated with customer service and repairs, product availability, price, product warranty and product delivery.
- Follows up on all sales orders, back orders, and special orders to ensure full shipment. Reviews Open Sales Orders regularly act acts accordingly.
- Researches and prepares sales orders and quotes for customers and outside sales staff according to specifications and information provided. Provides reliable information regarding product specifications, product suitability, pricing and availability.
- Communicate with outside sales staff regarding business activity as needed.
- Provide first interface with any walk in customers to determine product requirements or application needs.
- Responsible for coordinating the Damage Prevention group's annual marketing plans and execution.
- Primary lead for all systems and processes, for example, financial reporting, operations metrics, and communications, etc.
Work Environment
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline
- Generally 5+ years' experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of terminology used in the construction industry.
- Prior industry experience
