Sales Representative

Job Description

A rapidly expanding truckload carrier is looking for a highly motivated Sales Representative to join its Sales Team. The ideal candidate possesses a transportation sales background, superior communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Through effective communication, the new team member will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and profitability by engaging new customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering long-term, profitable client relationships.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

• $100,000-$125,000 + Bonus

Location: Houston, OR Dallas, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Director of Sales and Business Development on industry needs.
• Research and identify potential customers.
• Effectively communicate the business to current and potential customers throughout Mexico, the US Midwest Region, and Canada.
• Demonstrate the company's product in a positive and mutually beneficial way to customers.
• Assist with customer bids and marketing materials.
• Evaluate and process RFPs & RFQs.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Assist with other requests made by the Sales Department.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of sales experience
• Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Transportation industry & JIT Freight
• MUST have FTL experience
• Prior experience within USMCA (formerly NAFTA)
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Proficient at Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
• Associate or bachelor's Degree is a plus
