Description:

The Sales Service Executive is responsible for supporting Account Executives and the Sales VPs by prospecting, building sales materials and servicing NFL Corporate partners, advertising agencies and clients. A successful candidate should be highly self-motivated, have a deep understanding of the Television, Digital & Streaming media landscape, excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, experience in presenting sales materials, and the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. The Sales Service Executive is a Manager level position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Account Executives in identifying and developing media sales opportunities for their respective accounts
  • Brainstorm and develop unique programs to add value and help sell through media buys
  • Prospect new business and negotiate deals when appropriate in the scatter marketplace
  • Act as liaison between Sales/Integrated Marketing/Pricing & Inventory to develop and execute unique sponsorship opportunities
  • Work with NFL Research Department to develop accurate and informative research stories for potential clients
  • Organize research and competitive information for AEs and management
  • Actively track liability and provide stewardship of all media schedules
  • Provide support to and complete additional projects as directed by AE/management, including building new opportunity one-sheets and decks
  • Manage relationship with NFL Partnership Marketing group to execute all media commitments for NFL corporate partners
  • Meet with and maintain relationships with day-to-day advertising agency contacts

Required Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years ad agency and/or sales experience with an emphasis Sports
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and others)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness when faced with challenges
  • Self-motivated with great attention to detail
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of media math

Travel:
  • Occasional travel required within U.S. based on geographic agency/client allocation and client events.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.

Salary / Pay Range
  • This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.


Salary

$80,000-$105,000 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
