Roles and Responsibilities:
The Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, CPQ processes, and integration techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, enterprise architecture knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
15+ years of experience in Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation and at least 2 Salesforce - CPQ end to end design and implementation experience
Minimum 6 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations and technology implementation of full lifecycle enterprise projects
Minimum 4+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ or any other CPQ. Should provide in-depth subject matter expertise in CPQ & related domain areas.
Telecommunications Industry experience is required.
Lead end-to-end architectural design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on seamless integration with CPQ systems.
Provide expertise and guidance on Salesforce and CPQ integration strategies and patterns, including recommending best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Extensive background in designing architectural solutions for large complex programs on salesforce platforms
Must have good Solution Architecture experience in Lead to Quote process, in building CPQ Integrations with other Telecom OSS/BSS products such as CRM, DocuSign, Billing and Order Management products
Design and implement complex data models, ensuring data integrity and scalability through regular architecture reviews and optimization of Salesforce-CPQ data interactions.
Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence design
Evaluation of Salesforce.com with 3rd party solutions
Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Salesforce.com Certifications (Sales cloud/ CPQ Specialist/ Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Architect preferable)
Ability to lead, manage and review technical activities of team and be hand on when needed
Lead technical discussions and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
Act as an escalation point for all technical issues related to overall project.
Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management
