What You'll Do;
As the Salesforce Cross-Cloud Architect at Sporting Life Group, you will take the lead in shaping our Salesforce ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, IT, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning technical innovation with business strategy across our 3 national retail banners: Golf Town, Sporting Life, and Team Town Sports.
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions, providing architectural leadership and technical excellence. By mentoring a high-performing team and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you'll ensure our Salesforce platform is leveraged to its fullest potential, driving customer engagement, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.

By mentoring a high-performing team and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you'll ensure our Salesforce platform is leveraged to its fullest potential, driving customer engagement, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.
- Architect and lead the implementation of integrated Salesforce solutions that serve business needs across all banners.
- Develop and maintain a cross-cloud strategy that aligns with enterprise IT goals and leverages Salesforce capabilities to the fullest.
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, admins, and consultants, ensuring project success and skill development.
- Own the full project lifecycle of Salesforce solutions, from requirements gathering and architecture design to deployment and post-launch support.
- Establish and maintain best practices in Salesforce development, configuration, integration, and governance.
- Collaborate with business units, executives, and technical teams to prioritize Salesforce projects and align solutions with business goals.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth and clear communication on roadmaps, risks, and deliverables.
- Oversee release management processes, including testing, quality assurance, and deployment of new Salesforce features and customizations.
- Continually optimize and improve Salesforce performance, user experience, and business impact through innovation and automation.
What You'll Bring;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced technical certifications are considered a strong asset.
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, with proven success leading cross-cloud implementations.
- Hands-on expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Lightning.
- Strong technical skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and tools like MuleSoft.
- Experience guiding Salesforce DevOps and Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, security architecture, and system performance optimization.
- Experience managing and mentoring technical teams, with a leadership style that inspires collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into actionable strategies for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
