Position Overview
Continuum is looking for an experienced Salesforce Integration Architect to design, implement, and optimize seamless integrations between Salesforce and various enterprise systems for our federal government customer. In this role, you will define integration strategies, develop scalable solutions, and ensure data consistency across platforms. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams, you will establish governance frameworks, enforce best practices for API management, ETL processes, and security compliance, and drive overall integration excellence. Your expertise in Salesforce APIs, SOAP, REST, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and MuleSoft development (including Flow and API experience) will be instrumental in enhancing system interoperability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable integration solutions for Salesforce and enterprise systems.
- Define and enforce best practices for API management, ETL, and security compliance.
- Develop and manage REST and SOAP APIs, leveraging Apex-based integrations.
- Utilize event-driven architecture for real-time data processing.
- Lead governance efforts, monitor integrations, conduct code reviews, and enhance accelerators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows and ensure seamless system communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years' experience as a Platform Architect or in a similar role.
- Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
- Deep understanding of API design, security, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, integration frameworks, and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong background in designing and optimizing enterprise data flows.
- Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API-led connectivity, Flow design, and API development.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive digital transformation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems.
