Salesforce Technical Architect
Los Angeles, CA HYBRID | Full Time
COMPENSATION RANGE: 120,000.00 - 140,000.00
Summary
TheSalesforce Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementingscalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions alignedwith business objectives. This role requires expert-level Salesforceknowledge combined with broad technical expertise to lead compleximplementation projects and deliver high-quality solutions.
Essential Functions
Design comprehensive Salesforce architecture solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices
Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and deployment
Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for development teams
Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce products, features, and third-party solutions
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow Salesforce architectural best practices
Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance to development teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and project managers
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Stay current with Salesforce releases and technology trends
Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation, with at least 4 years in an architect role
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification preferred; minimum of Salesforce Certified System Architect and Salesforce Certified Application Architect certifications
Expertise in Salesforce clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
Strong understanding of Salesforce development frameworks (Apex, Lightning)
Experience with Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and middleware solutions
Proficient in data modeling, security models, and performance optimization techniques
Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting principles (Netsuite)
Experience with financial system integrations and accounting processes
Proficiency in middleware and integration technologies (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato)
Experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON)
Background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools
COMPETENCIES
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellence in technical documentation and communication
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
Strategic thinking with attention to detail
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
