Purpose:
This role manages the development, release, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP functional programs and reports that support the company's business strategy and is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. It is also responsible for improving business processes by collaborating with clients and colleagues.

Purpose:
This role manages the development, release, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP functional programs and reports that support the company's business strategy and is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. It is also responsible for improving business processes by collaborating with clients and colleagues.
Job Functions/Accountabilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed SAP configurations, and devises solutions, applications, and procedures to meet user requirements.
- Create, maintain, and improve reports by modelling, transforming, and shaping data to meet the business requirements.
- Support the business with data validation, security, and governance activities.
- Prepare documentation including charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions.
- Provide direct SAP functional and system, as well as business reporting support, training, and guidance to business users.
- Plan and conduct complex information system assignments and participate in multiple, important concurrent projects.
- Operate with considerable latitude for un-reviewed actions and decisions.
- Design and apply new business processes methods and procedures.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates for future work.
- Schedule work to meet completion dates and functional specifications. Review technical specifications as to its ability to deliver expected results.
- Work on the analysis, design, development, and implementation phases of information system projects.
- Provide functional assistance and advice to any experienced programmers and programmer/analysts.
- Support testing and debugging of programs as needed.
- Prepare functional and end user documentation for software applications.
- Provide direct SAP program functional specifications, SAP system customization and configuration expertise in applicable modules and functions.
- Provide SAP functional supports to the user community at ZCLP (warehouse, accounting, purchasing, sales & marketing, customer service, R&D, etc.)
- Analyze business issues and develop/recommend efficient and effective solutions through design, coding, configuration, testing and implementation activities.
- Support business process improvements and critical business strategies by developing, implementing and maintaining business application systems.
- Manage ZCLP Business Intelligence information systems (Microsoft PowerBI, others) by providing and/or managing developments, administrations, maintenance, and functional and technical supports functions to users and other ZEON IT groups.
- Keep up to date with emerging technology by attending and participating in professional conferences and training.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the performance of our facility's operation and ensures that customers' (both internal and external) needs are met. Adhere to the quality system.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of IT.
Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required
- SAP Certification preferred
- Project Management experience preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years of SAP functional support required
- 2+ years of SAP technical experience preferred
- 3+ years of BI/BA experience preferred
- Knowledge in SAP Security a plus
- Extensive experience and proven ability to provide SAP configuration expertise and functional support to SAP users in the company.
Special Qualifications:
- Familiarity with development tools such as SAP, internet technologies, etc.
- Strong analytical skills
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
